Hi there! I am Candace - my passion is empowering others to take charge of their wellness from the inside and out.
I graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. I am an Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I enjoy helping others become strong, healthy, and happy with their bodies.
Welcome to Essentially Fit! I will teach you how to exercise more effectively to get the most out of your time and see HUGE results. I am a mom of 2 boys and I work, so time is precious. I want to get a great workout that doesn't take an hour or more in a gym. The most important thing to me is making sure I am using the correct muscles during my workout with each exercise and getting proper form. Even I have areas that I need to work on.
You can't have a great workout program without also addressing nutrition. I provide you with over 4 weeks of meal plans. Each week has a calendar laid out with what to eat each day, recipes, and a grocery list. Couldn't be easier! Of course you can always switch out meals for different days and so forth. It is very flexible. All of the meals are also gluten free and dairy free. If you experience any inflammation, removing those foods from your diet will help you greatly because they do cause inflammation in the body. I can promise that the foods are all great and even husband approved by my husband and many friends!
Whether you want to come in and see me in person for one on one training or workout from home, I will be able to address your needs. If you want a safe postpartum program or want something more challenging you will enjoy the workouts provided. I have created a series for those that need to heal a diastasis and strengthen their pelvic floor.
